The Youth Group offers resources, support and guidance to youth residing in the care of a relative caregiver. This group provides a safe place for youth in kinship care to explore challenges faced in school and family systems and develop positive coping skills to utilize in their daily lives. * Refreshments provided ** Minimum age accepted into group is 11
The Kinship Caregiver Support Group provides support and encouragement to relative caregivers with information, resources and peer support needed to help navigate legal, medical and school systems. The support group also provides Parenting A Second Time Around (PASTA) training to assist in facing the challenges of raising a relative’s youth in their homes. *Refreshments and Child Care Provided
