LTI-Alternatives to Incarceration
LTI’s Alternatives to Incarceration (ATI) program provides individuals in the Nassau County Correctional Center and Suffolk County Correctional Facilities with cognitive behavioral change interventions. The goal of the program is to reduce recidivism through the provision of evidence-based interventions, Thinking for a Change (T4C) and Interactive Journaling (IJ), in the jail to both men and women, ages 18 and over, targeting those individuals who are at moderate to high risk of recidivism. In addition, transitional planning services are available to program participants within the Nassau County Correctional Center.
