County Reentry Task Force (CRTF)

Estrengthening support for successful reentry

LTI’s Nassau County Reentry Task Force (NCRTF), in collaboration with the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (DOCCS) and the Nassau County Department of Probation, provides critical reentry services to individuals returning to their communities from prison. Our structured, evidence-based approach ensures that returning citizens have access to the essential services needed to rebuild their lives, reduce recidivism, and successfully reintegrate into society. 

By addressing key reentry challenges—including housing, employment, mental health, and community reintegration—CRTF plays a crucial role in promoting public safety and supporting long-term success for returning citizens. 

Our Services Include

  • Job Readiness Training
    • Resume building, interview skills, and workplace etiquette.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Interventions
    • Addressing thought patterns to promote positive decision-making.
  • Occupational Training
    • Opportunities like our week-long OSHA certification training to enhance job marketability.
  • One-on-One Career Coaching
    • Personalized support to navigate career pathways.
  • Financial Literacy Workshops
    • Budgeting, saving, and credit repair strategies for financial stability.
