Socio-Academic Modification Program (SAMP)

Education, Growth, and Second Chances for Justice-Involved Youth

LTI’s Socio-Academic Modification Program (SAMP) is a certified educational program serving youth ages 12 to 18 who are remanded to the Nassau County Juvenile Detention Center. Operating year-round, SAMP delivers mandated and ancillary educational, cultural, and recreational services, all tailored to meet the unique needs of justice-involved youth.

Our goal is to ensure that every student has access to quality education, personal development opportunities, and pathways to success, both during their time in detention and as they transition back into the community.
